Music Ministry

Praising Him In His Heavens

Sing And Make Music!

Everyone is welcome to make music at Klang Chinese Methodist Church.

  • Building meaningful relationships between young adults
  • Extending the love of Jesus to those in and around Klang
  • Young Christian adults equipping each other to fulfil Christ’s Great Commission (discipleship)

Whether you sing professionally or in the shower, you are welcome to join our praise and worship teams…

…or choirs!

KCMC has three choirs open to all:

  • Chinese Choir (first Sunday of every month)
  • English Choir (second Sunday)
  • Women’s Choir (third Sunday)

Our worship services regularly involve various instruments — piano, drums, flute, violin, organ, and more.

If you want to serve but are afraid of conflicting times, don’t despair. Currently, instrumentalists rehearse on an as-needed basis with their respective praise and worship teams, which makes scheduling quite flexible.

If you sing or play an instrument (or would like to learn how to!), we’d advise you not to wait — there’s plenty of room for you to make music for the Lord at KCMC.

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

Psalms 34:1-3

KCMC’s Music Ministry is open to all passionate brothers and sisters in Christ, who love God and enjoy worshipping him with their voice or instruments. We also warmly welcome anyone who wishes to learn how to sing or play musical instruments, as a way of worshiping God.

Klang Chinese Methodist Church firmly believes in weaving choir into all our worship. A choir can:

  • Be a powerful prompt to excellence in worship
  • Foster a community of multi-generational fellowship and service
  • Lead the congregation in prayer
  • Provide a focus output point for God-given musical talent

We have a number of choirs that cater to people of all ages, from children to adults. If you enjoy singing and would like to join a choir, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us!
